Why Chad Johnson, why?! Chad Johnson, formerly known as Ochocinco, appeared on ESPN's Mike and Mike this week and revealed an odd, and simply disgusting, way he used to heal injuries during his years in the NFL. Johnson, who spent 12 seasons in the NFL with mostly the Cincinnati Bengals, told Mike Greenberg his unconventional method for curing his sprained ankles. What he would do, according to Johnson himself, was he would collect urine from his teammates, heat it up and then soak his ankle in it for 30 minutes.
I think I'm going to be nauseous. I've heard of using urine to cure jellyfish stings but sprained ankles?! If there is a doctor out there who can vouch for this method of treating sprained ankles, please, hit me up on Twitter and let us know. I can imagine Johnson experienced his fair share of sprained ankles during his career, so I'm sure he had to do this quite a bit. Yikes.
Leave it to Johnson to keep making headlines in the weirdest ways ever.
