One of LSU's biggest recruits from the class of 2016, Willie Allen, announced via his personal Twitter account Sunday evening that he's leaving Baton Rouge and the LSU Tigers.
Allen didn't reveal where he was going or what specifically led to this decision, but he did mention that he was reopening his recruitment now.
Here's what Allen tweeted out Sunday evening:

Allen, a New Orleans, LA. native, seemed like a perfect fit at LSU, so it's hard to predict where he'll go from here. 247sports did give Alabama, Ole Miss and TCU a real chance at landing the offensive tackle during his recruitment in high school, according to their Crystal Ball predictions. Of that group, Ole Miss and Alabama make a lot of sense with the amount of talent they've molded on the offensive line in recent years.
Still, Allen said that he plans to reopen his recruitment, so it's unknown as to which schools he'll seriously consider going forward.
Allen redshirted his freshman season at LSU.
