We're all mourning the death of "Brady Bunch" star Florence Henderson, who just passed away on Nov. 24 at age 82. In addition to playing Carol Brady on that iconic show, Florence also had a reputation as a first-rate singer. The Indiana native's performance of "God Bless America" at the Indianapolis 500 had become a race day tradition. You can check out a recent performance here.

Earlier this year, Florence served as the grand marshal of the Indianapolis 500 parade. It was a fitting end to what would end up being her last trip to the race.
In an interview before that last race with Indianapolis' ABC affiliate WRTV, Florence said, "I've been coming here for so long, I feel like a part of this race. This year, my goodness, it's exceeded all expectations."

Florence began singing "God Bless America" at the race in the mid-1990s. Until the end, she got a rush just before going on to sing for that massive crowd.
She said, "Yes, I always get excited. Butterflies."
She will be missed.
