Ohio State fans showed serious class as Tommy Armstrong Jr. was wheeled off to an ambulance.

Ohio State was locked in a tense battle with Nebraska Saturday night, when quarterback Tommy Armstrong suffered a devastating injury that appeared to knock him unconcious.

Armstrong lay motionless on the field before his jersey and pads were cut off, he was strapped to a backboard and eventually carted off the field. But as he was carted off the field, Buckeye fans showed compassion for Armstrong and chanted his name as he was carted toward an ambulance and taken away.

Armstrong would later make a miraculous return to the sideline, in hospital scrubs and all.

In such a vicious game with rivalries and fan hatred, it's nice for once to see such rare empathy for an opponent. Good on you, Ohio State.
