Oklahoma State defensive back A.J. Green went down during the Camping World Bowl against Virginia Tech on Thursday night after a collision with his own teammate.
Green — No. 4 in the black jersey — comes in from the side and his helmet makes contact with the knee of one of his teammates. After the hit, Green was motionless on the field for a few minutes, but he was eventually able to walk off the field with some help.
Fellow defensive back Rodarius Williams — with whom Green collided — was also taken back to the locker room after getting hit on the knee with Green's helmet.
Green was a standout defensive player for Oklahoma State this year as a sophomore. Green entered the bowl game with 43 total tackles and four interceptions on the season; the interception number was good enough to be tied for second in the entire Big 12.
