SmackDown Live is officially "Glorious."
Former NXT champion Bobby Roode made his official main roster debut during Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live. Roode interrupted Aiden English's singing entrance to hero's welcome.
Roode held the NXT championship for more than 200 days and immediately rose to prominence as the developmental brand's top heel. Prior to joining WWE, the 40-year-old Toronto native was a mainstay for TNA Wrestling (now Global Force Wrestling) and was a multi-time world champion and tag-team champion alongside James Storm as a member of "Beer Money" and Austin Aries as part of "The Dirty Heels."
Prior to his debut, Roode was photographed walking into the Barclays Center, leading to speculation that he would appear on the Blue Brand for the first time.

Roode was also reported to be backstage during last night's taping of RAW while most of his former NXT colleagues had already traveled back to Orlando following NXT TakeOver.
On Sunday, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, reported that Roode was expected to be called up to the main roster in the coming weeks as part of another "Superstar Shakeup."
