If you wrestled at the high school level or ever competed in competitive boxing or MMA, you might know the perils of weight cutting, especially in a short amount of time. However, UFC middleweight Uriah Hall had a big-time issue in preparation for his most recent fight and, given his stature, it is making national news.
Hall took to Instagram Live (h/t Deadspin) and revealed that he suffered both a "slight heart attack" and a "mini-seizure" during a recent weight-cutting process and, according to him, faced real danger of death as a result of the scary tribulations.

Hall was not able to take on Vitor Belfort last week as a result of the health issues and, quite honestly, that is the least of the concerns given the way he described what he went through.
It should be noted that Hall may have been prompted to go live with his thoughts after Dana White prominently (and recklessly) posed that he was over-partying in preparation for the fight. Still, no one should have to go through what Hall went through in this instance and it is a reminder of what the public misses in between public acknowledgements from fighters at every level.
