Four-star running back T.J. Pledger committed to the Oklahoma Sooners, but the class of 2018 stud is still going to visit two other powerhouse programs, along with Oklahoma, in the not-too-distant future.
Pledger, the No. 3 ASB in his class, visited the Cornhuskers on June 23 and committed to Oklahoma on March 25. And, although Clemson hasn't officially offered Pledger, the RB remains interested in the Tigers.
Via 247sports:
"I liked the visit a lot and got a chance to talk with coach Elliott and really liked the conversation we had," Pledger said. "The running back position is featured in their offense and you see them using a lot of guys. Clemson speaks for itself as national champions."
Nebraska, on the other hand, has already offered Pledger and they have been in the running for him for some time. 247sports' Crystal Ball predictions gave Mike Riley's team a 21 percent chance of landing Pledger during his recruitment.
Pledger is a very intriguing recruit overall, as he has the kind of quickness and running style that makes him a threat to score every time he gets the ball in open space.
Pledger is the No. 46 overall player in the class of 2018.
