In 2010, FSU was destroyed by No. 8 Oklahoma 47-17. The Noles were looking to bounce and back do some dominating of their own. They did that against the Virginia Cavaliers on Oct. 2.
Running back Jermaine Thomas had 122 yards and scored on rushes of 70 and 10 yards. FSU QB Christian Ponder threw for 172 yards and had a touchdown to Willie Haulstead, en route to a 34-14 win over the Cavs.
FSU's defense dominated Virginia's offensive line. The Noles got to Cavaliers QB Marc Verica six times, extending their nation-leading sack total to 25 through five games. The Noles also forced two turnovers.
This year's Florida State-Virginia game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. You'll be able to watch the game on ESPN.
