It's taken some time for Pryor to make the transition from quarterback to receiver, but the returns from training camp are pointing in the direction of Pryor being more than just an offensive gimmick for Hue Jackson's offense.

From ESPN:

"Once considered a triple-threat gadget player, the converted quarterback was recently elevated to the first team - further indication the new coaches take him seriously as an every-down receiver. He responded with six catches and two touchdowns on seven targets in a controlled scrimmage in Columbus. "He's got an elite trait that you can't coach, and that's size," said quarterback Robert Griffin III of the 6-4, 233-pound Pryor. Jackson intends to use Pryor as a receiving, running and - yes - throwing threat."

Being able to haul in passes definitely adds that third dimension, where as he already had an incredibly strong arm and receiver-like speed, as evidence by his 4.38-40 time at the 2011 draft combine.

During the 2013, in his most extensive playing time, Pryor rushed for 576 yards, including a 93-yard run against the Colts.
