They say you can't win a game in the first quarter but Saturday night Texas A&M was clearly the exception.
Once the Aggies broke the scoring seal, it was all over, as A&M (2-0) left the Cardinals in the dust going up 28-3 in the first quarter. Things didn't get any better for Ball State, as A&M hung another 21 points in the second quarter to take a 49-3 lead into the half.
Kyle Allen completed 10-13 passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns before grabbing a clipboard on the sideline in second quarter. The game got so out-of-hand, third-string quarterback Jake Hubenak saw the field as well, late in the fourth quarter.
A&M's rushing attack really led the way as Tra Carson, Brice Dolezal and Kwame Etwi combined for 258 yards on 39 attempts and two scores.
Not a bad way to bring christen your renovated stadium.
