Nearly two months have passed since former Pro Bowl wide receiver Terry Glenn tragically passed away in a one-vehicle crash near Dallas. Now, though, further details have emerged on what exactly transpired back on Nov. 20 and the reported autopsy findings are troubling.
TMZ Sports brings word that Glenn's blood-alcohol content level was more than twice what the legal limit was at the time of the crash, with a measurement of .165. In addition, there was reportedly marijuana in the system of the retired pass-catcher and police found paraphernalia to that affect as part of the wreckage from the accident.
In the report, Glenn's fiancee indicated to the authorities that the couple was commuting back from a Dallas Cowboys game when the accident occurred and Glenn was ejected from the car on impact. At the time of his passing, Glenn was 43 years old and, even with the reported factors involved in the crash that cost him his life, tragedy is the best way to describe what took place.
Glenn was a veteran of more than a decade of NFL football and it remains appropriate to send along thoughts, prayers and well wishes to his family and friends in the aftermath of his passing.
