
It was a good football play. But it was a frightening one.
Terrance Smith, the Kansas City Chiefs' linebacker, was on a kickoff return when Denver's Kayvon Webster came across the middle. Webster never saw Smith, you leveled the Bronco with a pulverizing hit.
That's where it got scary.
Webster stayed down for a while before finally getting up under his own power and heading to the locker room. He was immediately placed in concussion protocol.
But the pure brute force of that hit is enough to shake anyone.
