WWE announces huge No. 1 contender's match ahead of SummerSlam

Well this escalated quickly. After a very lackluster pay-per-view show in Battleground, WWE has now responded by offering up John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura as the main event on next week's SmackDown Live show. The winner will get a WWE Championship match against Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam.

It will be the first ever match between Cena and Nakamura, and it should prove to be more than worthy of a TV main event. Cena and Nakamura are two of the very best in the world at what they do, and it's incredible that WWE is going to put such a match on free television.
