
No. 6 Villanova (24-2, 11-2 Big East) had no problems handling Seton Hall (15-11, 5-9 Big East) in this game, beating them 80-54. However, they had a much tougher time with the wrestling act that Sterling Gibbs put on for the Pirates. When he and Villanova's Ryan Arcidiacano went to the floor for a loose ball, Gibbs gave him an elbow drop.
The WWE style of play was immediately called for a Flagrant-2 and Gibbs was ejected from the game. That's not to say he didn't have any remorse though as he took to Twitter and apologized to Arcidiacano for his actions.
