We already knew that Florida State's Ronald Darby ran track in high school, so he was destined to run the 40-yard dash really fast, but I didn't think he would do it this fast.
Darby had the second-fastest 40 time for a cornerback with an official 4.38. Only Michigan State's Trae Waynes had a faster one with a 4.31 second time. Check out Darby run below. He was clocked at 23.5 miles per hour by NFL Network.
Not only did Darby have a great 40 time, he also had the second-best vertical jump at 41.5 inches and a top 10 broad jump at 129 inches.
It's safe to say Darby turned some heads at the combine and moved up some draft boards.
