Kelly was hired to be the 49ers' head coach earlier this year, but things quickly soured as San Francisco plummeted down the standings. Just a couple of years removed from a Super Bowl appearance under Jim Harbaugh, San Francisco now sits in the NFL's cellar with a 2-13 record.
Baalke has been San Francisco's general manager for the past five years, and he's been with the organization in total for over 10. It now looks like both he and Kelly will be looking for new jobs as the NFL season comes to a close.
