This seems like the compliment you would want to receive from a five-star recruit.
Five-star offensive tackle Jackson Carman (6-foot-6, 330 pounds, Fairfield, OH) spoke with Anna Hickey of 247Sports earlier this week, and Carman continued to discuss the top three teams in his recruitment: Clemson, Ohio State, and USC.
One thing that Carman said about Clemson has definitely caught the eye of some around the nation, as Carman referred to the Clemson program as a "football paradise".
"It's a great school, it's almost like a football paradise down there. It's definitely a school I'm going to be interested in going through the process."
It's hard to argue with that assessment of Dabo Swinney and his program right now. The reigning, defending, undisputed national champs have established themselves as a legitimate football powerhouse over the past several years, and they have invested the funds into their facilities recently to reflect that status.
Carman is expected to visit Clemson again in December on an official visit. He is currently rated as the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 9 overall recruit of the 2018 class by the 247Sports Composite.
