Derek Carr led the Raiders to their first victory of the season and officially announced his arrival as a legitimate NFL quarterback in Sunday's game against the Ravens.
After suffering a bruised throwing hand last week and leaving the game in the second quarter, Carr came back with a vengeance this week. With two minutes left on the clock, Carr led his team on a game winning 80-yards touchdown drive. He tossed a 12-yard touchdown pass to receiver Seth Roberts giving Oakland a 37-33 win.
The second-year quarterback competed with Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco throw for throw and in the end, it was Carr who looked like an old pro.
Carr completed 30-of-46 passes for 351 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception in the Raiders' (1-1) Week 2 upset of the Ravens (1-1).
