The Pittsburgh Panthers are losing their second quarterback to transfer in less than a week.
Sophomore quarterback Ben DiNucci announced his decision to transfer from Pitt on Thursday according to ESPN, and he started six games and played in 10 this season for the Panthers.
DiNucci's decision comes two days after freshman quarterback Thomas MacVittie announced he was leaving the school.

DiNucci took over for former USC quarterback Max Browne after Browne was injured during the season. DiNucci threw for 1,091 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions in 10 games.

Redshirt freshman Kenny Pickett replaced DiNucci for the season finale against Miami, and Pickett led the Panthers to an upset win over the Hurricanes.
The two transfers will leave Pitt very thin at quarterback (only one on scholarship) so coach Pat Narduzzi could be in the market for another grad transfer next season.
