In what is not an Onion report, we swear it, a Philadelphia Eagles fan attacked a horse after being ejected from the Eagles-Falcons playoff tilt on Saturday.
That is a lede I never thought would need to be written. Anyway, I digress.
According to 6ABC, police said 22-year-old Taylor Hendricks was ejected last weekend's game and while he was leaving — for reasons best left to our imagination— he punched a police horse.
It is worth noting that the horse-puncher was ejected from the game, but no details are currently available as to why. It doesn't take a detective, however, to piece together this puzzle and speculate it might have something to do with being a wee-bit out of control.
Hendricks has been charged with assault of a police horse.
This is nearly the plot of Half Baked. The difference here being, obviously, that our real-life version of Buttercup wasn't accidentally murdered, but intentionally given a haymaker right to the horse-face.
The Eagles won their game last weekend, which makes this angry fandom all the bit more strange. Generally speaking, Philly fans don't lose their marbles like that after a win.
Nevertheless, the kid's parents must be proud and he now has a weird story to tell his friends.
