This is one way to shoot up the recruiting rankings.
On Monday, three-star defensive end Boyd Dietzen (6-foot-3, 235 pounds, Kimberly, Wi.), three-star linebacker Mason Platter (6-foot-5, 220 pounds, Menomonie, Wi.) and three-star linebacker C.J. Goetz (6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Waukesha, Wi.) all announced that they would stay in-state by committing to Wisconsin.

It's early, but the three commitments give Wisconsin some needed depth to their 2018 recruiting class. Dietzen is the highest-rated of the three, and the combination of commitments moved Wisconsin up to the No. 12 spot in 247Sports' recruiting rankings for 2018.
