The Lakers started off extremely well to start this 2016-17 season, but their latest fall is just another in a streak of nine losses in 10 games.
Despite leading by as many as 19 points on Tuesday, the Lakers fell in Charlotte 117-113 thanks to an impressive comeback effort by Kemba Walker and Nic Batum. Batum, who had 23 points, was the one who did the real damage late, as he sunk Los Angeles with this game-winner with just 13 seconds left.

Batum later made two free throws to ice the game completely.
Charlotte maintains their spot as the 4-seed in the East thanks to the win. Meanwhile, the Lakers fall to a dismal 11-20 on the year. This is after a surprise 10-10 start to the season for L.A., but they have now dropped 10 of their last 11 games. Their only win during that time frame was against the Philadelphia 76ers.
