
Juice Scruggs' recruitment is heating up as the class of 2018 center has a few heavy hitters that have offered him a scholarship. The big man himself has been tight lipped about who might lead, but his mom gave 247Sports the scoop on who he's favoring right now. According to her, Juice is down to two schools.
"It's between Penn State and Ohio State," Karen Scruggs said. "We don't have the time yet, but he will announce on Aug. 4. I think it will be in the afternoon."
She went on to say that her son hasn't visited either since May, but both schools have been in constant contact. The 6'3", 270-pound center is the No. 2 player at his position and No. 7 player in the state of Pennsylvania according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He also holds offers from Iowa State, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State and others.
