
Toryque Bateman is a four-star offensive tackle according to Scout and he might get that ranking based solely off his massive frame. He's 6'8" and weighs 300 pounds. The Gadsden City High School (Alabama) product has plenty of offers including some from Missouri, Louisville, Maryland and Virginia Tech. However, none of those schools made his top five list:

It's probably a total coincidence, but four of his five schools start with an "M" and two of them are in the SEC. He's deep in SEC country so you have to think Tennessee and Mississippi State have a good shot at landing this kid in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
