Les Miles shockingly reveals how many head coaching offers he's received this year

One name that is often mentioned in accordance with many open coaching jobs is former LSU head coach Les Miles, but Miles is still unemployed by any university ever since he was let go by the Tigers over a year ago. That might be surprising, especially with jobs like Kent State that has reportedly offered its job to 15 candidates, all of which have said no.

On Wednesday morning, the Miles visited with ESPNU Radio on SiriusXM and he was asked just how many jobs he had been offered this time around.

His answer? Well, none.

How many teams reached out to @CoachLesMiles to be the head coach at their schools?

It seems wild that Miles would not be offered a single position, especially given his impressive resume. It does make some sense that top-tier programs would not necessarily come calling given the way things ended in Baton Rouge but, in the same breath, Miles would bring immediate cache to the table at a lower level and non-Power 5 programs should be beating down his door at this point.

Perhaps some of this perceived disinterest in Miles could be programs simply assuming he would not take their open positions. Still, somebody should call Les Miles because, no matter the criticisms levied against him, he would be a quality option at the vast majority of stops around the nation.
