Former Nebraska wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr. has reportedly committed to play football at the University of Arizona, according to Nate Clouse of Yahoo Sports.

Johnson, the son of NFL legend Keyshawn Johnson Sr., announced last month that he would transfer from Nebraska after just one year with the program. He missed the majority of spring practice due to an appendectomy in December, but still managed to play during the Cornhuskers' spring game. He was cited for possession of marijuana in June and that led to his father's decision to take him out of the program and later file a written plea of not guilty in July.
Johnson becomes the first recruit under new Wildcats head coach Kevin Sumlin. It was reported on Sunday that Sumlin had agreed to become the new head coach at the school after Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo took his name out of the running for the position. The addition of Johnson for Sumlin figures to be a huge get as Johnson is a former four-star recruit from California.
