Five-star QB JT Daniels made his commitment Sunday evening and elected to stay in-state by choosing the USC Trojans.

Daniels, the No. 1-rated QB in the class of 2019, is a pro-style QB who was favored to ultimately pick a school that ran a pro-style system. Per 247sports' Crystal Ball predictions, outside of USC, Stanford and Michigan were heavily in the running for the young phenom.
USC makes a lot of sense for Daniels, especially from a timing perspective, as current star Sam Darnold will be in the pros by the time Daniels is ready to lead the Trojans and Clay Helton's team.
Via 247sports:
"I had to go with the University that felt right at my heart," Daniels told 247Sports.
Daniels is the No. 1 overall QB in the class of 2019.
