As long as there have been NFL drug tests, there have been those who have failed them. Every now and then there's a bad test and an even worse excuse for a failed test. However, New York Jets receiver and return specialist Jeremy Kerley might have given the worst and craziest excuse for a failed drug test.
WR Jeremy Kerley said he wasn't sure how a banned substance got into his system. Suggested a ghost might have done it. #Jets

Kerley was suspended in November for four games because of the "ghost" that apparently forced him to fail that test. Even if this was somehow true, that would have to be a pretty vindictive ghost to go after someone's urine sample and contaminate it with a very specific steroid called Turinabol.
