Jalen Hurts might currently be best known as the Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback who was benched during the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, but that doesn't appear to be bothering him.
In fact, despite being benched, Hurts still went through with a bet he made prior to no longer being Alabama's starter.
To put it more bluntly, he got a haircut.

It has been a weird ride for Hurts following his benching in favor of Tua Tagovailoa. While most of the nation thought he handled the situation perfectly, a national personality went after him on Twitter; Tagovailoa had to back him to fans; and he's indirectly the reason Brian Daboll left the program.
That is a ton of things happening around Hurts. To be fair, it really just appears to be a ton of people not handling the situation as well as the gunslinger.
Alabama struggled mightily in the first half against the Georgia Bulldogs in the National Championship Game. Unfortunately, the big problem was the quarterback play from Jalen Hurts. He went 3-of-8 in the first half for 21 passing yards. That led coach Nick Saban and his staff to throw true freshman Tagovailoa into the game. The freshman did well.
Nevertheless, as we continue to learn, Hurts is a resilient young man. He also has a fancy new haircut.
