J.J. Watt maintains his love for football, but recently noted he wouldn't hang around after his best years are gone.
So when the athletic freak of a defender worked out on Tuesday, a simple comment snowballed into a full-fledged thought.
Appreciate y'all letting me use the gym while I'm in LA, @Unbreakable. Might have caught the octagon bug.

Could Watt really be successful in MMA?
The 6'5", 285-pound monster simply cross-trained, as many NFL athletes do, but it's tough not to dream of the all-around athlete competing in the Octagon one day.
He doesn't have a background in wrestling, but his father was an All-Conference wrestler, and his two uncles wrestled as well, per Madison.com.
He's not quite Brock Lesnar, but for now let's just watch him flip a 1,000-pound tire.
Heck, if CM Punk can make the transition, why can't Watt?
