J.J. Watt in the UFC? Crazier things have happened

J.J. Watt maintains his love for football, but recently noted he wouldn't hang around after his best years are gone. So when the athletic freak of a defender worked out on Tuesday, a simple comment snowballed into a full-fledged thought.

Appreciate y'all letting me use the gym while I'm in LA, @Unbreakable. Might have caught the octagon bug.

Could Watt really be successful in MMA?

The 6'5", 285-pound monster simply cross-trained, as many NFL athletes do, but it's tough not to dream of the all-around athlete competing in the Octagon one day.

He doesn't have a background in wrestling, but his father was an All-Conference wrestler, and his two uncles wrestled as well, per Madison.com.

He's not quite Brock Lesnar, but for now let's just watch him flip a 1,000-pound tire.

Heck, if CM Punk can make the transition, why can't Watt?
