Mathers transferred from Ole Miss after three seasons, finishing his college career at MTSU. He ran for just over 1,500 yards, caught passes for 633 receiving yards and 20 total touchdowns. He nearly doubled his yards from scrimmage in one year at MTSU than he had in three years at Ole Miss.

Mathers joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.

Our thoughts are with him at this time.
