The 6'3", 296-pound defensive tackle actually suffered a broken ankle and fractured fibula at The Opening in Oregon. However, he is expected to only be out 4-6 weeks after surgery to repair everything. Emerson is ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the state of Tennessee and No. 3 DT in the country by 247Sports' own rankings.

He also had offers from the likes of Clemson, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Alabama, Florida State and Georgia among plenty of others.
