Head coach Jimbo Fisher initially diagnosed the injury as a three or four week recovery time. Maguire might be a superhuman though and even though he had a screw placed in his foot on Aug 15. he appears to be available for the Ole Miss game, if not featured in it.

Last year, Maguire accrued 11 touchdowns and 1,520 passing yards. Deondre Francois is slated to start the game right now despite his freshman status and lack of experience. However, he has supreme athleticism and a rocket arm, which is always good for a quarterback.
