Four-star wide receiver Warren Thompson is a south Florida native playing for Armwood High School in Seffner, Fla. That's one reason he had the Florida State Seminoles in his top three with North Carolina and Oregon. But it seems another Florida native and former USF coach in Willie Taggart was able to convince Thompson to head west and join him rather than stay in-state.

The 6'3", 196-pound receiver is ranked as the No. 25 receiver in the country and No. 27 recruit in the state of Florida according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 247Sports crystal ball predictions were also close as Oregon had seven predictions in their favor while FSU had five.

Thompson also held offers from Alabama, Miami, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee among other schools.
