George thanked God, his family and coaches for helping him through the recruiting process.
"I am humbled, grateful, and appreciative of the coaches who recruited and offered me an opportunity to grow as an athlete and scholar in their programs," George said. "After careful and prayerful counsel, I have chosen to continue my athletic and academic career at Pennsylvania State University."
George is from Oxon Hill, Maryland, and he is the No. 30 wide receiver in the class of 2018 according to 247Sports. The 6'1", 201-pound prospect is the No. 8 player from the state of Maryland.
George is already the 19th commitment for Franklin and the Nittany Lions and was the fifth commitment of the weekend for them. He also had offers North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia Tech.
