
Florida has been a little behind in recruiting the 2018 class with only two recruits, but did pick up a good third one on Tuesday. Four-star safety C.J. Smith made it Twitter official that he is going to be a Gator:

Smith is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 17 safety in the country and the No. 40 recruit in the state of Florida. He has 20 offers including some from Alabama, LSU, Michigan Oklahoma and Penn State among others. The Oxbridge Academy (West Palm Beach, Fla.) standout is on the bigger side for a safety at 6'2" and 193 pounds, but Florida has churned out quite a few NFL-caliber secondary players so that should work well for him.
