The recruiting world suffered a seismic shift on Wednesday, as four-star offensive guard Marquis Hayes (6-foot-6, 320 pounds, Maryland Heights, MO) announced his commitment to Oklahoma.

Hayes is ranked as the No. 8 offensive guard in the 2017 class by Rivals.com. For a player ranked so highly, it is weird that Hayes only had 10 total offers. Apparently Rivals and Oklahoma see something in him, though, as there is a lot of potential in a 6-foot-6, 320-pound lineman.
