In an interview with 247Sports (subscription required), four-star defensive end Markaviest Bryant (6-foot-4, 226 pounds, Cordele, Ga.) indicated that he will publicly commit on National Signing Day, and that two teams are at the forefront of his recruitment right now.

Those two teams? Auburn and Georgia.
Georgia has been the heavy favorite for Bryant, but now it looks like the Tigers are sneaking on up the list. Both schools will have a chance to pitch their programs to Bryant, as he has official visits to both scheduled ahead of National Signing Day in February.
Bryant is the No. 13 weakside defensive end, according to 247Sports. He is a consensus four-star recruit.
