
One of the top linebackers of the 2017 recruiting class has found a home, as four-star recruit Willie Gay (6-foot-2, 215 pounds, Starkville, MS) announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Friday night.

Gay picked the Rebels over Mississippi State, Michigan, South Carolina, and LSU. He also had offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, among others.
Gay is a four-star recruit, and rated as the No. 8 overall linebacker for 2017 by 247Sports. He is Ole Miss' ninth commit for the recruiting cycle, and is the second-best rated recruit behind four-star wide receiver D.D. Bowie.
