
The country's fourth-ranked inside linebacker from the 2017 recruiting class has made his decision. On Sunday evening, four-star linebacker Dave Adams (6-foot-1, 215 pounds, Pittsburgh, Pa.) took to Twitter to announce that he could be verbally committing to Notre Dame.

Adams held a number of big-time offers from around the country, including ones from Florida, Michigan, LSU, UNC and Stanford. Adams' commitment to the Fighting Irish brings Brian Kelly's commitment list to six. The class is ranked seventh in the nation according to 247Sports.
