Well, this will definitely be quite the conversation for some Florida State fans at the start of next season.
On Thursday, four-star safety and Florida State commit Daniel Wright (6-foot-1, 187 pounds, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) surprisingly decommitted from the Seminoles in order to flip his commitment to Alabama.

Wright's decommit is a bit of a blow to Florida State, as they now only have 13 commits for the 2017 class. However, it's not always about quantity; the Seminoles are still ranked 13th in the nation according to 247Sports recruiting rankings.
Alabama, meanwhile, has 24 commits now for their 2017 class. They are ranked No. 1 across all recruiting rankings.
If Wright sticks with his commitment, he will have an interesting day to open next season when Florida State and Alabama play in the Chick-fil-a Kickoff Classic.
