Thomas reportedly transferred from Alabama over concerns of playing time after choosing Alabama over Florida in 2015.

He played at a JUCO school last season, and will return to primetime college football in Tallahassee.

He'll open the 2017 season against his former team in the newly-opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
