It's not often that a home state high school bans a recruiter from one of the powerhouses in the state. However, that seems to be the case for Homestead Senior High football coach Ahmad Ward. There was one Florida assistant coach who apparently did not please Ward at all in a recent visit as he took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.

I banned a certain recruiter from UF from my school. Nope, u not welcomed here!

Naturally, his mentions got blown up by Florida fans, but he clarified that it wasn't the whole school and just the one guy.

Florida receiver Antonio Callaway spent his first three years in high school at Homestead before transferring to Booker T. Washington in Miami. Florida does not currently have any Homestead graduates on its roster either.
