Five-star and No. 1 LB Anthony Hines has dropped his Top 10

Anthony Hines (6-foot-3, 225 pounds, Plano, TX) is a bit of a wildcard across the recruiting rankings, but they all agree on one thing: he is one of the very best inside linebackers available in the 2017 recruiting class.

On Thursday, Hines tweeted out a video that showed he has narrowed down his choices to just ten schools. Those schools: TCU, Ohio State, Florida, Texas A&M, Texas, UCLA, Oklahoma, Auburn, SMU, and Oklahoma State.

Obviously the big surprise team there is SMU, and it is interesting to see how long the Mustangs will last in contention. Hines living in nearby Plano can only help their case here.

Hines is rated as a five-star by Scout, but a four-star by the 247Sports Composite. Both services agree, though, that Hines is the top-rated inside linebacker for the 2017 class.

The 247 Crystal Ball currently lists Oklahoma as the favorite.
