ESPN has lost some great college football reporters over the course of this summer, but they've now got two huge additions in Joel Anderson from BuzzFeed and Phil Steele who is best known for his comprehensive preseason breakdown of every DI school in football.

The addition of those gentlemen will obviously give ESPN some more people power to do some reporting, but should also give some unique insights on the world of gambling, college basketball and college football. Steele has been writing his preseason prognostications in their entirety since 1995 and has been rated as one of the most accurate predictors of college football seasons. Steele has been a member of the All-America, John Mackey Award, Davey O'Brien Award, Lombardi Award, and the Ted Hendricks Award voting committees.
Anderson previously worked at The Tampa Bay Times covering a myriad of sports subjects before moving over to BuzzFeed in 2013 to do something similar. One of Anderson's claims to fame is also being a distant backup to LaDainian Tomlinson at TCU.
