Defensive tackle Dillon Faamatau just made a big decision on his recruitment, and it's easy to see why.
The three-star JUCO recruit committed to USC back in April, and he was figured to be a part of USC's emerging 2018 recruiting class. However, Faamatau changed everything on Monday, as he flipped to Oklahoma in a move that could allow him to enroll in time for the 2017 college football season.

According to 247Sports, Faamatau would have had to wait until the 2018 season in order to enroll at USC, as he would not have the credits necessary until then. Apparently it's possible that Oklahoma will be able to take him sooner than that, making the 2017 season a possibility for him.
Faamatau was originally a class of 2015 recruit, where he originally committed to play at Arizona State. Faamatau never played a down for Arizona State, transfer to JUCO Cerritos College following one redshirt year with the Sun Devils. Cerritos, has been a fixture for several pro sports alumni, including T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Joe Gibbs and Jim Zorn.
Depending on what happens with his recruitment, Faamatau should have between two and three years of eligibility remaining.
