Former Georgia commit and four-star offensive tackle D'Antne Demery was initially supposed to head to Athens to play his college ball. Those plans were changed after he was released from his National Letter of Intent due tomisdemeanor charges of simple battery and criminal trespass one night in April.

Those plans were changed after he was released from his National Letter of Intent due to misdemeanor charges of simple battery and criminal trespass one night in April.

The 6'6", 319-pound offensive tackle and U.S. Army All-American has decided on a new home for at least one year anyway as he will be heading to Hutchinson Community College in Kansas according to the JUCO's head coach Rion Rhodes as he told 247Sports. Demery was the No. 20 OT in the class of 2017 and the No. 22 recruit in the state of Georgia according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Demery also had offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee as well as a few others.
