As for Smith, the four-time Pro Bowler has been shut down for the forseeable future due to his back issues.

The Cowboys are shutting down Tyron Smith for another extended stretch because of sore back, meaning he'll practice twice in 14-day stretch.

He played in 13 games last season after back and knee issues hampered him. His return is imperative to the success of arguably the best offensive line in football.
