6'5 DE Joe Tryon decommits, immediately flips to team's biggest rival

Nothing hurts more in recruiting that one of your recruits announcing their intention to decommit... and then immediately committing to your top rival. That's was three-star defensive end Joe Tryon (6-foot-5, 230 pounds, Renton, Wa.) did on Friday, though, as Tryon decommitted from Washington State and announced his commitment to Washington.

Tryon was one of Washington State's top commitments, so this one will sting for the Cougars. Meanwhile, Tryon joins a Washington recruiting class that has really emerged as one of the top of the country. The Huskies currently rank No. 18 in 247Sports' recruiting rankings. Washington ranks second in the Pac-12, trailing only USC.
